I am quite new on here and am not sure this is quite the right board to post on - but here goes.
I am starting a new job next month. Currently my pay date is the 25th of each month but in the new job it will be the last working day of each month.
At present I have pretty much all of my direct debits coming out between 25th and 28th of each month. Now obviously with the change in pay date I will not have enough to cover these direct debits in the first month, and to be honest I prefer everything to come out as soon as possible after I have been paid so that I know what I have left etc.
I want to make sure that I am prepared and dont end up in arrears with anybody because I am trying to sooo hard to get the straight and narrow!!

Just ring them up & explain your change of circumstances.
In my experience most companies are very helpful as they want to keep your payments coming in on a regular basis.
